Gibraltar Funds & Investments Association - GFIA
GFIA (Gibraltar Funds & Investment Association) is an association representing the interests of the funds and investments sector in Gibraltar. The objective of GFIA is to develop and maintain Gibraltar as a specialized investments jurisdiction of choice within Europe.
GFIA strives to promote the awareness of Gibraltar as one of Europe's financial centres. We promote this through rigorous cooperation and liaising with local government and regulatory bodies. This is done in order to maintain Gibraltar as a competitive jurisdiction for funds and investments.
GFIA makes a strong effort to identify and promote learning opportunities through regular training. This is important in developing and growing the capabilities of the local work force. GFIA also makes a concerted effort to inform and advise its membership of changing and relevant issues affecting the financial industry locally as well as globally which often times involves participation in seminars and conferences throughout the European Community.

GFIA is pleased to announce its seminar “Corporate Governance for the Gibraltar Funds Industry – A Focus on Directors and Service Providers” that will be taking place on Thursday, May 30th. This seminar will be a half day event and will work through several segments dealing with important topics for both EIF directors as well as service providers with the emphasis being on corporate governance for the Gibraltar funds industry.
