A Starry Night to Remember GFIA Gala Dinner 2025
The 5th June 2025 the Gibraltar Funds and Investment Association (GFIA) hosted its much-anticipated Annual Gala Dinner, bringing together professionals from across Gibraltar’s funds and investment sector for an unforgettable evening under the stars.
Held in the enchanting surroundings of the Alameda Gardens, the evening embraced the theme “Starry Night”, combining elegance with a relaxed, celebratory atmosphere. This year’s Gala was not only a celebration of industry achievements but also a powerful demonstration of community spirit and local talent.
Music, Atmosphere, and Local Talent
Guests were welcomed with sparkling lights, signature cocktails, and the sounds of live music curated in partnership with the Musicians Association of Gibraltar. Performances throughout the evening included standout sets from Nicky Borda, Della Slade, and Jullianne Coleing, who each brought their unique style and warmth to the occasion — perfectly capturing the mood of the night.
Their performances were a highlight of the evening, transforming the gardens into a glowing, music-filled space that reflected both the creativity and vibrancy of Gibraltar’s cultural scene.
Ministerial Support
We were honoured by the attendance of two key government figures, whose presence reinforced the strength of collaboration between Gibraltar’s public and private sectors.
The Hon. Nigel Feetham KC MP, Minister for Justice, Trade and Industry
The Hon. Gemma Arias-Vasquez MP KC, Minister for Health, Business, the Port, Town Planning and Public Utilities
Both ministers took time to engage with attendees and show their continued support for the growth and global positioning of Gibraltar’s financial services industry.
Supporting GADS – Giving Back to the Community
A core tradition of the GFIA Gala Dinner is our commitment to giving back. This year, we proudly supported the Gibraltar Alzheimer’s & Dementia Society (GADS). Thanks to the generosity of our guests, we raised an incredible £2,575 through the evening’s charity raffle.
A special thank you goes to Jeanette Ochello, who represented GADS on the evening and reminded us of the vital work the charity continues to do to support individuals and families affected by dementia in Gibraltar.
With Thanks to Our Sponsors
We extend our deepest thanks to our sponsors, A.M. Capurro and Bullish, for their continued support and commitment to both the industry and the wider Gibraltar community. Their contributions played a crucial role in making the event a resounding success.
