Announcement following GFIA’s Annual General Meeting
The Gibraltar Funds and Investments Association (GFIA) hosted its Annual General Meeting at Isolas LLP on the 2nd July 2025 with much appreciation extended to Jonathan Garcia and staff for their warm hospitality and venue.
Jonathan Garcia, the Chair, welcomed attendees and opened the meeting by presenting the Chair’s Report for 2024. He highlighted the Executive’s work and key achievements throughout the year.
The subcommittee Heads provided insightful reports on the year’s achievements, outlining progress and contributions towards GFIA’s continued success. Joanne Rodriguez and Heather Adamson delivered a detailed update, highlighting the team’s efforts in promoting Gibraltar and its funds products to a global audience. They acknowledged the committee’s dedication in submitting content for LinkedIn and the GFIA website, and requested further contributions to enhance visibility.
In the absence of the Treasurer, Heather Adamson presented the audited financial statements, expressing thanks to BDO Limited for their ongoing support in preparing the statements for each AGM. The Executive extended their gratitude to Faith Howe and conveyed their best wishes as she prepares to welcome a new addition to her family.
The current Executive Committee remains unchanged, with the exception of Patricia Linares, who will be stepping down.However, she will continue to support and champion the Association. The whole of the Executive Committee thanked Patricia for her hard work and dedication over the years and extended their best wishes for the future.
The Chair closed the meeting by thanking members for their continued support, which remains vital to GFIA’s ongoing success.

The Executive Committee is committed to representing the interests of stakeholders in the Gibraltar funds and investment industry.
